In November 2014, I started working as the digital media producer for Midwest Knifemakers Supply, llc in North Mankato, MN. This video was the first one I put-together for them. It is a how-to video detailing the electro-etching process used in knife making. The video was shot with two Sony camcorders, a GoPro, and a Zoom H4N audio recorder. As it was my first time using the equipment at Midwest Knifemakers Supply, the video came out a bit rough in spots. Moving forward, I’ll definitely be tweaking my camera and audio set-up until I figure out what will produce the best results.

Regardless, early reviews suggest the video is quite helpful to knifemakers new to the etching process, and there does seem to have been an increase in electro-etch kit sales since the video was put online.
